There's no doubt that the tattoo culture is big in the rock world, with many rockers starting with a simple arm piece, evolving to a "sleeve" or filling up their back with an artistic piece, but it seems that more and more people are taking to their face for an ink canvas. You can count Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook as the latest to sport a face tattoo.

The rocker showed off his new piece in an Instagram photo. He got the word "Driven" added to his right temple thanks to tattoo artist Rick Trip of the Trip Ink Tattoo Company in Las Vegas.

Hook captioned his face tattoo post with several hashtags -- #ffdp #tripink #iloveit. Check out the face tattoo below:

Hook will soon get a chance to show off his face tattoo to fans on the band's upcoming fall tour. They'll hit the road with Volbeat, Hellyeah and Nothing More beginning Sept. 16 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dates can be found here.

When the band hits the road, they'll be supporting the 'Wrong Side of Heaven' video and their 5FDP4VETS campaign aiding military vets. For more on both the video and the campaign, check out our recent chat with guitarist Zoltan Bathory by clicking the button below.
