As we reported back in October, Judas Priest singer Rob Halford will go from being the Metal God to the Yellow God as he gets a new look courtesy of the hit cartoon show 'The Simpsons.' Plenty of musicians have been featured on the long-running show, but rarely do metalheads get a bonus treat when watching the long-running animated series. The payoff will come this Sunday, Jan. 5, at 8PM ET on Fox in the episode titled 'Steal This Episode,' and the first images (above and below) of the animated Halford and Priest have been unveiled.

In this episode, Homer teaches Bart the ways of illegally downloading movies. The family screens the movies in their back yard for people to watch as Homer once again displays his naivety. Of course, illegally downloading movies is against the law, which is where Judas Priest come into play. Halford leads the band in a rendition of 'Breaking the Law' as the FBI goes after Homer.

Rob Halford and Judas Priest have been all over the place in the last couple years. The band appeared on American Idol in 2011. They performed with contestant James Durbin as he belted out 'Living After Midnight' and 'Breaking the Law' with the band.

Halford also appeared as a guest on Five Finger Death Punch's song 'Lift Me Up' off their album 'The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1.'

Judas Priest recently confirmed that they will release their new studio album in 2014.
