‘Final Call’ for Douglas Firefighter / EMT After Battling Cancer [VIDEO]

A celebration of life will be held this Saturday, September 9th for Douglas Firefighter / EMT William 'Billy' Cathcart.

With the Facebook hashtag #Cathcartstrong, Billy's family told the world of the passing of a true Hero.  Billy and his family are long-time residents of Douglas and big supporters of the community.

The Douglas Volunteer Fire Department paid tribute to their fallen comrade with the traditional 'Last Call' radio message, along with this post on their Facebook page.

William 'Billy' Cathcart passed at 2 AM on Wednesday morning with his wife by his side according to information posted to the #CathcartStrong Facebook page.  Billy is survived by his wife Carly and their two children Ace and Lola.

A celebration of life for William Cathcart will be held at the Upper Ag Hall at the Wyoming State Fair Grounds at 10am this Saturday, September 9th, 2017.  Attendees are asked to bring a memory of Billy to share with others and are invited to dress comfortably.
