A 21-year-old man has died at this weekend's Pemberton Music Festival in British Columbia. The fan was found dead in his tent on Friday, according to the Toronto Sun.

The cause of death is unknown at this point, but police have said that the death of engineering student Nick Phongsavath is "suspicious." Police have sealed off the camping area in which the body was found.

"His body was found near a row of portable toilets on Friday," reports the paper. "Police have deemed his death suspicious, but cannot confirm how he died or whether foul play was involved."

It hasn't been a very good month for music festivals. In late June, two people died at the Glastunbury Festival in England, and two others died at the EDM-themed Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas the weekend before.

The Pemberton Festival has assured fans that the man's death was an isolated incident. It posted an announcement on its Facebook page stating as much.

The festival continues today with performances by F---ed Up (pictured above), Outkast, St. Vincent, Modest Mouse and more.
