It's a night of dance and entertainment that helps support families in the Casper community. "Dancing With The Stars Of Casper 2018" is coming up on October 27th, at 6:00pm at the Casper Events Center. The evening of food, fun, and entertainment  that benefits the Mercer Family Resource Center an organization that has served Casper for 47 years.

This year's theme is "At The Movies", featuring Casper celebrities and experts performing professionally choreographed routines to your favorite movie soundtracks, not to mention competing for the much-coveted People's Choice Award. This years dancers include:

  • Mallory Pollock-Backwards Distilling Company and Casper Pride & Beth Jozwick-YMCA and wyOMing Yoga & Massage
  • Larry Wilson-Greiner Ford and Secure Gunz Security & Mary Facciani-YMCA
  • Sloan Dickey-K2TV & Liz Norcross-Lifetime Fitness
  • Mayor Ray Pacheco-GEAR UP Casper College & Joy Gallup-Jump Craze Trampoline Park
  • Stephanie Hambrick-US Attorney’s Office & Chad Nelson-HUB International Mountain States Limited.

You can use your dollars to vote for your favorite couple any time, or at the event. For the rest of the entertainment, Dance Evolutions, Inc. will open the festivities and the grand finale will be performed by Betsy Bower with Inferno Metalworks. The evening also features great food and a large variety auction items and amazing travel packages.

The funds raised at "Dancing With The Stars Of Casper" go toward program and operating costs at Mercer Family Resource Center, allowing them to "continue to provide quality services to those who need it most," according to Mercer FRC, which says 75% of their clients meet federal and state guidelines for poverty.

Through direct services, our staff will serve 3,000 families this year, and reach an additional 80% of Natrona County through substance abuse prevention and suicide awareness presentations, and family activities."
