Americorps Wyoming along with volunteers from Serve Wyoming recently completed a beautification project in Casper and the results are amazing!

The city of Casper's Parks Division has had issues over the years with vandals which had graffiti'd a large concrete wall located in Riverview Park.  The wall is part of the parks basketball / recreation court and was an eyesore to neighbors and park visitors.

With the help of Americorps Wyoming, Keep Casper Beautiful, Fort Atelier, Wyoming National Service Members and dozens of community volunteers, Riverview Park's graffiti'd eyesore got some needed repairs and a new coat of paint.

The once graffiti covered wall is now covered by a beautiful mural that helps add to the beauty of the park which sits along the shore of the North Platte River in north Casper.  The new mural features a rainbow trout and also shows volunteers cleaning up the river and helping keep Casper and the river healthy and beautiful.

The new mural features a quote from President John F. Kennedy - "In the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet".

Congratulations to everyone involved and thanks to all who volunteered there time and talents in helping with this awesome beautification project!
