Two Casper residents were arrested over the weekend in separate DUI-related crashes, according to the Casper Police Department.

Jenterece Michelle Watkins, 36, was booked into jail on a DWUI charge.

Andrew David Wilson, 22, was arrested on charges of DWUI and leaving the scene of an accident.

Charging papers say Watkins was taken into custody on Saturday after police were called to the area of 26th and Jefferson for a reported hit-and-run involving an intoxicated driver.

Officers arrived and found the suspect vehicle, a blue Ford E-350, parked in the driveway of a home, with a number of pedestrians pointing toward the van.

Watkins reportedly came out of the house, crying. She said she had screwed up and now would be going back to prison.

She allegedly told officers she had several shots of whisky and a beer, and though she was not too intoxicated to drive. She said she hit one parked vehicle "real hard."

The crash report indicated Watkins' van damaged two parked vehicles on South Jefferson. Watkins reportedly performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests before saying, "I'm humiliated enough, I told you I was drink."

She was arrested. An intoximeter showed her blood-alcohol concentration to be .145 -- just shy of twice the legal limit -- when she was booked into jail.

On Sunday evening, Wilson was taken into custody after officers received a report of a maroon Hyundai driving erratically on South Nebraska Street, hitting a garage door, driving through a yard and nearly hitting three other vehicles.

Police found the Hyundai facing southbound in the northbound lane, with the passenger side of the vehicle resting on the sidewalk. Wilson was trying to drive the vehicle in reverse before reportedly getting out and walking to the passenger side of the car.

An officer told Wilson to stop and sit on the hood, which he did. The vehicle had severe damage to the passenger-side bumper and wheel, with a flat tire and the rim missing chunks of aluminum.

Wilson reportedly said he couldn't remember what happened and denied having been in an accident. The officer noted injuries on Wilson's face, and Wilson reportedly denied having recently been in a fight.

As he tried to speak with Wilson, the officer repeatedly heard Wilson say, "I'm too drunk to drive, just take me now," as he put his hands behind his back as though he was being arrested.

During a portion of the field sobriety tests in which Wilson had to count, he allegedly said, "I got to twenty, how many other drunk people count that high?"

Wilson was arrested, and a breath test at the jail showed a blood-alcohol concentration of .14, according to court documents.
