On April 27th,  last Friday, the Casper Police were contacted by a female who was attacked in the 1200 block of South Beverly Street.  At approximately 9:30 PM, while washing her vehicle at the nearby car wash, the victim was attacked by an unknown male. The suspect approached her from behind while she was busy washing her car, attacked her and dragged her away to a nearby area.  After a brief fight, the woman was able to get away and promptly notified police.  She received minor injuries in the attack.

An investigation revealed the suspect was a man, possibly with light or lighter toned skin.  The suspect rode a bicycle around the area for approximately twenty minutes prior to the attack. At this time, the Casper Police Department believes the victim was chosen at random. The suspect (shown in the photos), is still at large. The Casper Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

The Casper PD is encouraging all citizens to take an active role in their personal safety, to be aware of their surroundings at all times, and to report any unusual activity to the Casper PD.   If you have any information regarding this crime, contact the Casper Police Department at (307)235-8278 or Detective Mitch Baker at (307)235-8232.
