It's always great for morale to see your state and your city in a positive light. Well, it doesn't get much better then this. Casper made Time Magazine's 'Best Places To Live in 2014' list.

Coming in at number 50, the highlight of our great city was our job market and unbelievably low unemployment rate of 2.8%. Matter of fact, the only real downside that Time cited us for was having the second-highest male-to-female ratio in America. According to the blog, because of the predominantly male-dominated energy industry, we average 102 men for every 100 women, versus the 97 men for every 100 women nationally. If that's the major drawback to life in Wyoming... I'll take it!!!
