Casper businessman and philanthropist Tony Cercy was arrested Friday afternoon on three counts of sexual assault, according to the Natrona County Detention Center.

If convicted on all counts, he faces between four and 55 years of imprisonment, according to state statutes.

Tony Scott Cercy, 55, was arrested at a business in the Old Yellowstone District, according to an eyewitness.

There is no scheduled release date for him, according to the automated voice mail system at the jail..

Cercy is charged with two counts of second degree sexual assault, and one count of third-degree sexual assault.

Sexual assault in the second degree is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not less than two years nor more than 20 years.
Sexual assault in the third degree is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 15 years.

The voice mail system did not give any details about the investigation.

Cercy was the head of Power Service and sold it last year for millions of dollars.

He has purchased several businesses in Casper including a liquor store. He is remodeling the former Boticelli's and the former Poor Boy's Steakhouse.

Last year, Cercy announced he was donating $1 million to the downtown plaza known as the David Street Station.

His son, Cole, is remodeling the Wonder Bar.
