The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce has announced the tentative schedule for Longmire Days from July 17-19.

Longmire Days celebrates the books and television series about the fictional Absaroka County, Wyo., where Sheriff Walt Longmire and his deputies and staff enforce the law and try to keep their own lives in order.

Last year, about 8,000 fans from across America and not a few foreign countries traveled to Absaroka's county seat of Durant, known in real life as Buffalo, of meeting the actors and book series author Craig Johnson who lives near Ucross, a motorcycle run, performances by Native Americans, street dancing, and a whole lot of partying.

In August, A&E Television canceled the television series after three seasons. After a social media firestorm, Netflix announced it would pick up the series in November. The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce announced in January that Longmire Days would be held July 17-19.

The schedule is subject to change until the week of July 12.
