It could be a battle every night to see who wore the low-key hat and dingy flannel best. Brand New and Modest Mouse have announced a co-headlining summer tour kicking off June 28.

There will be no opening acts on the 24-date trek, and both the Long Island post-hardcore outfit and Washington indie rockers will play full headlining sets. It marks the first time the bands have toured together.

Brand New are currently prepping new material and released the single “Mene” – their first music since 2009 – early last year. Modest Mouse released their sixth album, Strangers to Ourselves, last March.
