Black Keys Releasing New Single Next Week

Ready for another round of "the Black Keys are saving rock 'n' roll" stories? Well, you better be. The duo is releasing its first new music since 2011 next week, and we're guessing there's gonna be a ton of those savior accolades accompanying it.

Revolt is reporting that the Keys will release a new single, called 'Fever,' on Monday at 3:30PM EST. So set your alarms. That's when rock 'n' roll will return to the airwaves.

While the group hasn't been entirely inactive since the release of 2011's 'El Camino' -- which quickly followed the mainstream breakout record, 'Brothers' -- this is is the longest span of time between Black Keys albums since their debut album, 'The Big Come Up,' was released in 2002.

But both members have been busy. Singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach produced music by Lana Del Rey, JEFF the Brotherhood and Ray LaMontagne, among others, and drummer Patrick Carney worked with the Black Lips, Tennis and more.

Somebody who's heard 'Fever' told Revolt that the song is "amazing," but, really, what else would they say? Everyone loves the Keys, right? If you love rock 'n' roll, you love them -- end of discussion. After all, they're saving rock 'n' roll.
