The popular and renowned pianist George Winston is making a return visit to Casper on Monday, May 7th. Winston's career spans more than forty years and he's sold millions of albums, including seven platinum recordings. Winston grew up mainly in Miles City and Billings, Montana, and says he's happy to be returning to this area to perform.

In Casper, he'll be performing his "Summer Show", which includes a variety of selections including his own melodic folk piano, some of the Vince Guaraldi "Peanuts" pieces, piano influenced by Fats Waller, a piece from The Doors, New Orleans Rhythm and Blues piano, and more.

He'll also be performing selections from his latest album "Spring Carousel", which features 15 solo piano compositions he wrote while he was recovering from a bone marrow transplant for Myelodysplastic Syndrome at City Of Hope in California. "The album wouldn't have happened without them," says Winston, "Well, without them and their piano, so obviously it was a benefit record for them."  Proceeds from sales of that album directly benefit City Of Hope.
