5 Wyoming Music Festivals To Be Excited About This Summer
Have you picked up your tickets yet for any of Wyoming's festivals this summer?
There will be a lot of live music heard around Wyoming this summer at the many outdoor festivals including the Targhee Music Festival featuring Grace Potter.
The 12th Annual Targhee Fest Music Festival comes to the Grand Targhee Resort near the Tetons July 15-17, 2016. The confirmed lineup includes:

- Drive-By Truckers
- Josh Ritter
- JJ Grey & Mofro
- Hot Tuna Electric
- The Jayhawks
The 29th year of the Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival brings a wealth of musical talent to the base of the Tetons August 12-14, 2016. Take a look at some of the confirmed acts:
- Sam Bush Band
- David Grisman Sextet
- The Hillbenders present The Who's 'Tommy'
- Lord Huron
- Trampled By Turtles
- Steep Canyon Rangers
- The Infamous Stringdusters featuring Nicki Bluhm
Cheyenne Frontier Days brings plenty of rodeo action, Championship Bull Riding and some of the best country acts to Wyoming the last full week of July each year. The 2016 lineup includes:
- Sam Hunt with Maddie & Tae-July 22
- Fallout Boy-July 23
- Kenny Chesney with Courney Cole-July 27
- Jake Owen with Old Dominion-July 28
- KISS with Aaron Watson-July 29
- Florida Georgia Line with Cole Swindell-July 30
The Beartrap Summer Festival comes to Casper at the beginning of August. The announcement of their 2016 lineup is expected soon. Each year they bring together national music acts with some of Wyoming's best musicians to the meadows of Casper Mountain.
Flaming Gorge Days hit Green River June 23-25. The 2016 entertainment lineup features:
