There is a company called Airbnb that puts people looking for unique and last minute lodging together with the folks that will offer it. That lodging ranges from a camping spot on someones front yard to a 3 bedroom luxury house in the mountains and everything in between. In Wyoming you would be surprised at what is available to you as I found everything from a teepee to a knights bedroom. Here is a look at a few of the offerings.

I was surprised to find not one but a couple of sheep-wagons available for immediate occupancy. This particular wagon is an original sheep wagon used on a family ranch from the 1920s until the early 1970s. It has a full size bed inside, and an add in bed that accommodates two more people, a pull out table to seat 4 and all the dishes you would need for your stay. The wagon is also set up so you can plug your own generator into it to have lights and power inside the wagon if roughing it is not a part of your experience. This wagon is set on a 30,000 acre ranch with a lot to do. It will set you back $125 a night, but if you are looking at a more rustic experience, that is available in other wagons. See details HERE.
For those looking for a mile high experience, this one goes higher than that. At over 7000 ft in elevation in the beautiful Snowy Mountain Range outside of Laramie your crew has never been so high! This unique place with a geodesic dome can accommodate 9 with 2 bedrooms, 5 beds and 3 baths. The ranch is surrounded by National Forest, so access to recreation, including fishing, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and ATV trails is close at hand. This last one is by far one of the oddest and most unique I have seen on Airbnb. It is called the Knights Quarters and is a single room in a 3700 sq ft home in Cody, Wyoming. Decorated with knives and swords and battle axes and everything medieval, it is ready a knight and his lady. Downtown Cody is only a mile away and offers restaurants, coffee shops and activities such as Mini Golf, Movie Theater, Bike Rental, White Water Rafting, and more. At $95 a night it wont break the bank and will certainly give you a night, or knight, to remember. Details HERE.
