The outfit 2Cellos are breaking the mold of classical cello by taking on modern pop and rock favorites and their latest attempt at re-arranging a rock classic is the red hot take on AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck.'

In a new video created for the track, Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser take the stage decked out in old time garb to play for audience of corseted women and powder-wigged men who have come to enjoy some classical cello, and everything begins exactly as you'd expect with the two men launching into a classical piece. But a sudden glint in the eye from one to the other begins the transformation of the track into a feverishly performed rendition of AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck' to a stunned silent crowd.

"We always try to put our own spin on it, do something different with the song and present it to the people in a new and fresh way," say the duo to GoodMorningAmerica.com. "We try to add an extra classical dimension to those well-known evergreens through our cellos."

The two cellists were rivals growing up, and that's something that plays out in the video as their performance at points appears to find them challenging each other to rock out the song even further, when one of them even falls to the floor rocking out the cello on their back. Hauser says, "Everyone was surprised when we joined forces."

Hauser adds, "We cover songs that we love and we play music that we are passionate about. These songs have to mean something to us, and of course, they have to sound great on the cello."

Mission accomplished, as over 3 million people have viewed the 2Cellos 'Thunderstruck' video since it went live on Feb. 18.
