The Central Wyoming Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute is proud to host the 24th Annual A.P.I. Chili Cook-Off to be held February 20, 2016 from 11am-2pm at the Casper Events Center. The theme this year is "Back to the 80's" and for a $10 ticket you get to sample 42 red and green chilis and see the creativity of the teams as they decorate their booths and dress the part. There is also a Calcutta and welcome BBQ Friday night, Feb. 19th at 5:00 p.m. that is open to all.

The chili cookoff raises funds for college scholarships as well as raising funds for local non-profits including, CAP (Children’s Advocacy Project), Central Wyoming Hospice Program, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, The ARC of Natrona County, Special Olympics Wyoming, Mercer House, Jason’s Friends, Brain Injury Association, Safe Kids of Central Wyoming as well as many of the medical funds established in our community.

There will also be a cash raffle with prizes of $10,000, $1500 and 5 prizes of $500 cash all for a $20 ticket price, only 2000 of these available. A.P.I. will also be raffling off a .50 caliber rifle for $10 a ticket. Entertainment will be provided by Kim Walker.

Due to limited space and personal safety, strollers are NOT ALLOWED on the Events Center floor.
