It’s official – Stuff The Van #14 is a wrap, and was one of the best years we’ve had in the event’s history. We just got word from our partners at Wyoming Food Bank Of The Rockies, that after everything was sorted, counted, and distributed at their warehouse – just over 3,500 Casper children will be served this Christmas, thanks to your generosity. (That’s a few hundred more than last year!) Thanks to the great work at our partner charities, who will ultimately be distributing your gifts to the people they serve – Salvation Army, Child Development Center Of Natrona County, and the Casper Boys & Girls Club.

And that’s not all – as we mentioned earlier, our Stuff The Van donors were instrumental last year in starting up a new program in Casper with extra funds received at Stuff The Van #13. We were able to work with Wyoming Food Bank Of The Rockies and obtain some matching funds to begin the Totes Of Hope campaign this year in 20 local schools, serving approximately 200 kids struggling with hunger.

We can’t thank you enough for your generosity over the past 14 Christmases, and for making this year such a success on behalf of Casper kids in need. It’s humbling to watch, and reminds us that Casper is the most generous city we know of, and an incredible place to live – and that’s all because of our neighbors like you.

For those who haven’t given of their time or treasure this year – it’s not too late. There’s tons of worthy charities in town serving all types of people who would love to hear from you, not just around Christmas, but 365 days a year. Volunteerism is the lifeblood of these places – they’d be happy to put you to work helping others locally, and you’ll never do a more satisfying day of work in your life.

May you and yours be healthy and happy this holiday season – we will see you next December for Stuff The Van #15!
