Suicide affects us all! Suicide knows no color, gender, or socioeconomic status. The good news is that there is something each and everyone of us can do about it.

Everyone suffers and survivors are left behind to pick up the pieces when someone we know commits suicide.  There's nothing glamorous about suicide and the rate at which it affects those of us here in Wyoming is alarming!

The Natrona County Suicide Prevention Task Force wants you to know that - Suicide Prevention is everyone's business!

You can help in the fight against suicide by joining in on the 13th annual Breaking the Silence walk and bringing attention to this problem in our community.

The Breaking the Silence Walk will take place, starting at 4 pm on Saturday, September 17th at the Crossroads "Castle" Park (1101 N. Poplar).

Johnny J's will be on hand serving up free BBQ to the first 300 walkers.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.  You can walk for loved ones, for yourself or just to show that you care and want to help lower the suicide rate in Wyoming.

For more information about the walk or to find out more about the Natrona County Suicide Prevention Task Force, please visit their website or call Traci Gardner @ (307) 233-4277.
